Bruce Pileggi

Bruce Pileggi is an artist and performer residing in Gardiner, NY. He received his BFA from SUNY New Paltz. Currently he is exploring pastels and charcoal on canvas. In the past he has explored mediums including painting, photography, drawing, political documentary film making, and stage acting. Pileggi's work modulates between landscape, abstract and figurative images, but is always anchored in exploring the relationship between himself and how he fits into the rest of the world. This relationship can at times feel isolated and solitary, but there is an undercurrent of energetic movement and vibrancy that connects the pieces back to a larger narrative about our place as humans in society.
